Overview: Secabo SH7 Softheat 35cm x 45cm

The hot plate that always runs - Made in Germany - The new membrane heating plate from Secabo, known as the “Softheat SH7”, brings with it long-awaited special features that solve the typical problems of many transfers. With this new heating technology made in Germany, high-quality and complex textiles are protected, unevenness in transfers perfectly compensated and the heat imprint on the textiles minimized. The pressure and temperature peaks in problematic areas such as buttons, hem and seam are minimized and air pockets under the heating plate are avoided. Even shiny polo collars are a thing of the past with the SH7 softheat heating plate. The innovative membrane heating plate also saves time when inserting the textile, since there is no need to pull shirts or position seams over the edge. Buttons, collars, zippers etc. can largely remain in the press. The Softheat heating plate is ready for use after only three minutes of heating. The SH7's power consumption is significantly lower than that of conventional heating technologies. The desired working pressure is set on the pressure regulator; a compressor is required for this. After closing the transfer press, the membrane in the SH7 inflates automatically. Another special feature of this heating technology is that there is only minimal discoloration due to the heat imprint on the textile, while classic heating plates cause clearly visible changes. This means that removable plates or pillows to avoid large-scale discoloration become superfluous. The Secabo SH7 membrane heating plate stands for completely new work with a transfer press and offers unimagined possibilities in terms of productivity and quality. Many old and almost all new transfer press models from Secabo are suitable for retrofitting with the Softheat SH7.

High flexibility regardless of the type of material used

The SH7's heating membrane resembles a heated balloon. The membrane fills with air during the press process, thus smoothing out any unevenness. The garment is placed with its entire surface, then the transfer is aligned and you start the pressing process! The heating membrane is a wearing part that is subject to a certain amount of wear and tear - but it can be reordered and replaced without any problems. Careful handling of the membrane, e.g. avoiding sharp edges in the press, significantly increases its durability!

Easily adjustable transfer printing

As usual, the working height is set at the heat press, for example via a hand wheel on the heat plate. The contact pressure is very easy to set using the pressure regulator on the SH7. A manometer reliably shows the current contact pressure - in grams per square centimeter, the contact pressure can be displayed in the open state as well as closed state. The pressure on the pressure regulator can be fine-tuned even during the pressing process. The SH7 heat plates by Secabo allow for taking accurate readings of the actual contact pressure, as well as reproducibly setting it.

Efficiency and ease of use

Secabo products guarantee a high level of efficiency and user friendliness. Thanks to the new Secabo SH7, button strips, seams or zippers can be easily pressed on. The fact that many textiles can simply be placed over the entire surface of the base plate, without a template or similar aids, is not only time-saving but also gives you the opportunity to align your transfer clearly on the textile.

Features

Hardly any heat marks and dye migration

Hardly any heat marks and dye migration

Heat marks on the garments are mostly prevented because only the absolutely necessary part is heated. By doing so, the garment is also protected from resublimation and dye migration.

Variable work pressure

Variable work pressure

The work pressure is easy to adjust - in each case matching the transfer object and procedure.

Safe working

Safe working

The safety and quality of this device is constantly monitored - according to German safety standards.

Precise temperature distribution

Precise temperature distribution

The high-quality heat plate ensures an exact temperature distribution over the entire heating surface.

applications for heat presses

designing like the pros - using heat transfer presses

What is a heat press?

A heat press, transfers text, logos or images onto different materials. The device works with pressure as well as heat in order to achieve long-lasting results. A heat press is like a large iron, but with more pressure and more intensive heat. Heat presses are suited for a wide range of transfer processes.

finishing of garments with flock and flex

motives from flock or flex material or decals can be transferred to garments with the heat press. E.g. soccer jerzys can be decorated with names, numbers or the club's logo

sublimation transfer:

In this process, the heat press transfers graphics, photos and texts that have been printed on a commercially available printer to polyester materials. Printing requires nothing more than special sublimation inks. The heat created by the heat press causes the ink to dye polyester materials. In addition to clothing, this procedure is also suitable for individually designing cups, puzzles, mouse pads, tableware and much more. Please note that this procedure should only be used on bright, preferably white materials, to facilitate a realistic color reproduction.

Inkjet flex:

A design is cut out of an inkjet flex foil and then transferred to a piece of clothing using a heat press. The highlight: Regular ink from a normal printer is preserved by special varnish beads inside the inkjet flex foil through the transfer process. This facilitates the production of durable textile finishes in photo quality with simplest means. One might, for example, design a soccer fan shirt with a country pennant.such as a country pennant on a soccer fan shirt, etc.

Chromablast Transfer:

Why do I need a heat press?

The uses and possibilities of a heat press are as diverse as the various different transfer methods that exist. Heat presses allow both professionals and ambitious hobbyists to make their personal design ideas a reality, such as for example:

Creative design of cups and mugs
Individual design of mouse pads
Processing and design of clothing such as T-shirts, jackets or sweaters, for example, for bands, schools, work clothes, designer collections
durable garment decoration with motives from flock or flex - ideal for sport clubs
Creation of personal Hat
Design your own towels and bathroom textiles
Creative design of large-scale photo motifs on bathroom or kitchen tiles
create your individual bags

Which is the right heat press for my projects?

When choosing the appropriate heat press, the shape of the receiving material and the size of the objects to be transferred are key factors. Folding presses or swing presses are used to finish flat materials, such as textiles or tiles, with a personalized design. The Secabo TC 2 heat press, for example, is a reliable entry-level folding press for smaller designs. The Secabo TC 5 heat press is suitable for larger designs. There are special mug presses that perfectly adapt to the shape of a mug to allow for creating an individualized mug collection, such as the Secabo TMUG heat press.
