Many plotters fail with UV stickers because their sensors cannot "see" the registration marks on transparent backing paper. The BladeX2 utilises a high-resolution CCD camera. This recognises marks on almost any substrate - whether reflective, coloured or crystal clear.

While head 1 cuts the fine contours of your stickers with the utmost precision(kiss cut), head 2 performs the final full cut to separate the sheets in the same operation. The centrepiece of the Secabo BladeX2 is the asynchronous dual-head system: While head 1 performs the kiss cut (scoring), head 2 simultaneously performs the full cut for separation. Driven by dynamic servo motors in a closed-loop process, the system guarantees burr-free edges and absolute contour accuracy for the most complex geometries, even at 1,200 mm/s.
Technologically, the image-based CCD camera sensor system sets new standards in register accuracy. In contrast to infrared sensors, it analyses the printed image over the entire surface and compensates for material distortion in real time - essential for demanding UV-DTF stickers on transparent or reflective media. Thanks to full network integration (LAN/WiFi) and barcode-supported job scanning, the BladeX2 minimises set-up times and integrates seamlessly into industrial digital workflows.
