Visitors from Tyrol: Aristo Graphic Austria at Secabo

Aristo Graphic Austria, our sales partner in Austria, paid a visit to Secabo. A look back at a day filled with machinery, technology and plenty of discussion.

A successful partnership thrives on personal interaction. We are therefore all the more delighted to have recently welcomed a delegation from Aristo Graphic Austria to our premises. Based in Kirchbichl, Tyrol, the company has been our sales partner for Austria since 2022/2023 and, during this time, has become one of the distributors with whom we enjoy a particularly close and trusting working relationship.

The following people travelled from Tyrol:

  • Andreas Schulnig, Managing Director
  • Jovana Marinkovic, Authorised Signatory and Head of Marketing
  • Hermann Heiss, Field Sales
  • Martin Baumgartner, Field Sales
  • Christian Aschbacher, Technical

The programme included new machines, technical details and, above all, plenty of time for discussions: about the market in Austria, the requirements of local customers and how we can work together to further develop our partnership.

On display in the showroom: the Secabo MultiTrim Pro

Our first stop was our showroom. There, Bernhard Schmidt (CEO), Konstantin Köppe (Head of IT) and Stefanie Binder (Team Lead, Sales) presented the Secabo MultiTrim Pro – an automatic roll trimmer that resolves one of the typical bottlenecks in post-processing.

Anyone who produces DTF transfers is familiar with the problem: printers and shakers deliver long rolls, but cutting them into individual transfers takes time. This is exactly where the MultiTrim Pro comes in. It quickly and precisely cuts long DTF rolls into handy individual transfers that can go straight into the press. At its heart is the intelligent film tracking system: sensors monitor the position of the film and correct the cutting path in real time. This ensures the cut remains precisely on track even over long runs – without the need for manual readjustment and without waste caused by material warping.

Operation has been deliberately kept simple: adjust the blade once, start the job on the control panel, and you’re done. As well as DTF film, the MultiTrim Pro also processes sublimation paper – for mugs, for example – as well as self-adhesive films for rectangular labels and stickers. For such standard formats, it is significantly faster than a conventional cutting plotter. Thanks to its compact design and compatibility with common registration mark systems, it also integrates seamlessly into existing production workflows.

In the technical field: listening to dealers and customers

We then moved on to our engineering department. There, Thomas Bauer, Head of Purchasing & Engineering, took the time to answer questions from the Aristo team and showed them the design and details of our transfer presses up close.

This direct line of communication is important to us. Thomas Bauer and our entire team are always ready to listen to the concerns of our dealers and customers. We take feedback from the field seriously; we address any queries and issues, and incorporate our partners’ experiences into the further development of our machines. Dealers such as Aristo, who are in daily contact with end-users, are an indispensable source of such feedback.

What makes collaboration special

During our conversation, we naturally also wanted to know what, from Aristo’s perspective, makes this collaboration stand out. One important factor is the geographical proximity: Secabo is, in a sense, a neighbour to the team from Kirchbichl. This allows for short distances and straightforward, personal communication. Aristo particularly values this – we know each other, we can talk to one another, and any issues are resolved straight away.

Added to this are our team’s technical expertise, a wide product range and excellent value for money. The support provided throughout the sales process also plays a role: with an online shop, comprehensive product information and quick feedback, Aristo says it has “everything you need”. And with a twinkle in their eye, the team added that Secabo “fits in well colour-wise” – after all, both companies feature red in their branding.

Tried-and-tested favourites in our range

There was also clear feedback on individual machines. A particular favourite of the Aristo team was the predecessor model to our TPD7 pneumatic double-plate press. Aristo was also impressed by the Secabo DTF MultiCut Pro: its compact design and precise alignment with the needs of its target audience make it a particularly well-suited product from a retailer’s perspective.
