Secabo Smart Transfer: The control app for the world's first generation of smart Heat Presses
The Secabo Smart Transfer app is available to download free of charge from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. The range of functions and the transfer database are constantly being expanded. The Secabo Smart Transfer app is a control app for the SMART Heat Presses from Secabo. It is a huge pool of information for both amateurs and professionals.
In addition to time and temperature, users can call up various pressure settings for different transfer pairings of transfer object and transfer medium/technology.
Simply enter the fabric type and the transfer material and the appropriate combinations for temperature, time and pressure can be called up. The pre-tested transfer parameter pairings are only available by specifying them in the app. There is no need to carry out your own test series or "blind runs" for transfers on new and possibly expensive textiles.
The use of small base plates and the resulting maximum contact pressure achieves extremely short transfer times: These are values that no other manufacturer of Heat Presses or transfer media has yet achieved. Additional functions, such as the calculation of heat-up times and warning functions, make the app a valuable aid for all common heat transfer processes. The Secabo Smart Transfer app's database eliminates the need for time-consuming trial and error to find functioning parameters that deviate from the manufacturer's specifications.
Comfort mode
In comfort mode, users first select the transfer substrate, the transfer material and the size of the desired base plate or removable disc for the transfer process. Based on these specifications, the app loads suitable transfer parameters from an online database. Users can adjust the time, temperature and pressure to their requirements dynamically and in real time, depending on each other: for example, they can select a particularly time-saving or textile-friendly combination. All parameters can be saved and archived in the Jobs function.
Manual mode
In manual mode, the functions of the SMART Heat Press can be easily controlled using the app. Users select the desired settings for time and temperature and set additional parameters such as the exchangeable platen used or transfer supports. All parameters can be saved and archived in the Jobs function.
Save, manage and retrieve jobs
With the job function, users can save all the desired specifications for their production under job titles they have assigned themselves. An overview of all jobs already carried out is available under Profile and Jobs. Frequently used jobs can be saved as favourites with a star symbol and thus appear at the top of the list in the display. The settings in each job can be edited at a later date. The detailed view shows all the data stored for a job. Here, users can also enter notes on a job, load the job for further work or duplicate it for a variation.
General settings
The menu for setting the app language can be found under "Settings". The selection ranges from German and English (UK or US) to French and Spanish. The unit for the temperature can also be selected here. As soon as a connection to the desired Heat Press is established, the user selects the desired working mode via the dashboard. The last two jobs and the current settings of the Heat Press are displayed there.
